While going through the long and emotional process to bring our daughter home from Ethiopia in 2007/2008 there was one poem that really touched me whenever I heard it. Its such a short, simple poem but to me it described perfectly what an adoptive parent feels about their child:
The Gift of You
I didn’t give you the gift of life,
But in my heart I know.
The love I feel is deep and real,
As if it had been so.
For us to have each other
Is like a dream come true!

Now, to those who know me, know that its absolutely no secret how proud and emotional I am over my own children’s adoptions, as well as those of friends and acquaintances who are/were in the process. This is a community of people who I feel very connected with as we have all shared the same joys and tears. I know first hand the emotional, physical and financial stress that an adoption can bring to a family. Thankfully, I also know the joys and excitement that ultimately follow… 
With great excitement, I am thrilled to introduce an exclusive program:
Over the next several weeks/months I will be connecting with several local Ottawa Social Workers and Adoption Agencies to ensure that they know how this program works and to pass the info along to their adoptive families, however, feel free to share this information with any family that you think may be interested in this amazing program!

DETAILS: ~ You must be home with your child for no more than one (1) year to take advantage of this offer. ~ You may only take advantage of this exclusive offer once (1).
