Sweet B ~ Ottawa Children’s Photographer

Isn’t she precious?! B’s Grandma contacted me a few weeks back about doing a session with her 20 month old Granddaughter and of course I was very excited to meet and photograph her! This is one of my favorite ages to photograph kids – still so baby-ish and easy to make giggle, and at the same time have a pretty good understanding of what’s happening around them. The first thing I noticed about B when we met last Friday was those adorable little cheeks. And if you know me, you know that I’m a total sucker for a chubby cheeked baby! B was fantastic for our session too. Mom had warned me that she might be a bit shy for the camera but that wasn’t really the case at all! She managed to turn on the smiles with the help of some funny noises, peek-a-boo games and Mommy standing behind me making silly faces!

Thank you so much to the lovely and adorable B for sharing your beautiful smile with me for this session! And thank you so much to B’s family for choosing Danielle Lynn Photography to capture these memories for you. I’m truly grateful for the wonderful families I am fortunate enough to meet because of my work as a Professional Children’s Photographer here in Ottawa!

Ottawa Family Photographer ~ The S Family!

Steve, Genevieve and Hudson were the first family that I had the pleasure of photographing as part of my Graffiti Wall Mini Sessions last weekend!!! I had 3 other sessions scheduled for the same day, but the weather ended up being so rainy and unpredictable that I wasn’t able to fit everyone in. So I’ll be sharing two sessions this week for sure, and I will share the others as they happen.

Gen is a fellow photographer (a VERY talented wedding photographer to be specific!) and friend of mine who had mentioned to me a while back that she would love to have her family photographed by me. So I was thrilled and so excited when she jumped at the chance to book a mini session! I have to admit, its the ULTIMATE flattery when a fellow photographer hires you. So for that reason alone I may have been just a *tad* nervous. But all went fabulously and I’m pretty confident that they’ll love these images.

Thank you Gen, Steve and sweet, adorable little Hudson for the fun time on Sunday morning!

Princess Mia take TWO! ~ Ottawa Family and Baby Photographer

This past weekend I went back to shoot the second half of the session with Princess Mia and her family…and I think it was worth the wait! Here’s part one if you missed it. Big brother Zachary was in a bit better spirits (although didn’t entertain me for long!) and sweet Mia was a bit sleepier too which made it easier to get a bunch more with her and her Mommy and Daddy!

THIS my friends, was the cutest, sweetest little girl!! Seriously! Have you ever seen more beautiful eyes?! And those teeny tiny little LIPS! They had me swooning for the entire session! Well technically, I should say, this is part ONE of the session. We wanted to do some more family shots but big brother Zachary had missed his nap and due to the time change, was a little out of sorts. So hopefully next weekend I’ll be able to post some images of part TWO as we try again when the little man is a little more rested!

Baby Dains ~ Ottawa Newborn Photographer
