Now, you will know that from my previous work, I do not process many of my photos in black and white. Its not that I don’t like black and white – on the contrary actually, I DO!! Its just that for me, the photo REALLY needs to ‘speak’ to me. It really needs to LOOK like it should be in black and white. And for whatever reason, maybe its the over all style of my images, I really don’t find that I do it often.
ANYWAY, all of that changed when I got home from this session with Eden yesterday. Its the first time in maybe….EVER, that I actually thought the majority of the photos suited black and white!! And I was THRILLED!
Eden is a girl who is totally mature and wise beyond her years and I somewhere in her there is this old soul. It really just radiates from her in these images I think. Maybe that’s the reason that I felt most of these looked so perfect in black and white? YOU tell ME I guess!
